hey all. i have twin girls who have feeding and sever food allergies and feeding issues and so BF wasent an option for them (they are on a prescription formula called Neocate) and we just found out at christmas time we are expecting baby #3... (this one was concieved on BCP) and we want to do everything we can to BF this one.
SO im looking for some tips and hints and what i can do to make sure this new baby has a good latch (last two woldent latch, and took 4 nurses to get on and they wouldent suck properly, talked to a LC and nothing worked) and to foster good brestfeeding....

I would make it known to the hospital staff you fully intend to bf. Don't go in there saying "try" because will leave room in your head to just take the bottle and be done with it if have any hangups getting started. Insist the LC comes and sees you when your baby is born.. If you have any problems make her come back as many times till you figure it out. Make sure your baby isn't given a pacifier. They really aren't necessary and can confuse your baby.

I guess if all else fails, have you thought about pumping?
